The enemy has viciously attacked marriage, the very institution that God established in the Garden of Eden to be the bedrock of humanity. Sadly The enemy knows that marriage is supremely important:

All other relationships in society stem from the father-mother relationship, and these other relationships thrive most if that father-mother relationship is simultaneously a close and closed husband-wife relationship. Good marriages are the bedrock of strong societies, for they are the foundations of strong families. We must do what it takes to save our marriage because most importantly it will catastrophically cause damage at all levels to our children and future generations, it will negatively affect the world we will leave behind for our future generations.

My opinion regarding divorce may seem very harsh but I must share what the LORD has shown me. A person who desires divorce is either a very lustful person seeking to be with another person or they carry a generational curse of divorce that can only be broken by seeking divine intervention from Almighty God to help break that generational curse and other curses. I know that there are really good people who didn’t seek to become divorced, often times the spouse filed for divorce, but the right thing (yes there is a right thing to do) would’ve been to stay divorced and wholeheartedly seek God for the restoration of the marriage even in the case of porn addiction and adultery.

A final word on divorce:

There are two things that a divorced person can or must do; first of all you must repent before Almighty God for divorce because it is a sin albeit pardonable- God will forgive you if you repent but there are dire consequences mainly related to health. I have yet to know of a divorced person or couple who have lived into their 70’s because of illness or disease. I’m very sorry but it’s something that must be pointed out. Please let me know if I am wrong. It’s not the will of God but the will of the flesh and demonic influences, more specifically seducing and lust spirits.
